CHAGEE wins at Asian Experience Awards 2026 for seamless digital platform
The beverage brand created a unified mobile platform that connects millions of users across Asia Pacific markets.
CHAGEE won China Digital Experience of the Year - Food & Beverage and Singapore Digital Experience of the Year - Food & Beverage in the Asian Experience Awards 2026. The company secured the honours for its mobile application ecosystem, which unites ordering, payments, and customer loyalty across regional markets.
Multinational food and beverage operators often manage independent mobile applications for each country, which resets customer loyalty status during travel. CHAGEE addressed this issue by developing a unified platform that acts as a single account across borders. Customers register once and maintain their membership profile, accrued points, and privileges whilst travelling across participating territories.
The application supports localised languages and regional payment methods within a single digital identity. Its borderless loyalty structure allows purchases in any market to count towards a central membership tier. Additionally, the company implemented a standardised marketing toolkit featuring modular engagement activities, such as reward collections and interactive games, to ensure operational efficiency across all store locations.
To support rapid regional growth, the infrastructure uses a modular design that connects store operations with centralised management. This setup allows the business to launch in new markets without writing redundant code. A centralised translation tool also enables quick deployment across different languages whilst keeping the user experience uniform.
“Guided by our philosophy of delivering the ultimate user experience, we developed the CHAGEE APAC App as a Digital Tea Passport, one single account that travels, ensuring consistency and a highly unified brand experience wherever the customer travels in the region,” the company said.
The system now supports millions of registered users across hundreds of stores in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and South Korea. Digital orders account for more than half of overall transactions, whilst cross-market user activity continues to expand.
